13 persons feared dead in Taraba Boat accident

At least Thirteen people are feared dead  from  the a commercial boat that capsized in River Benue at  Ibbi town in Taraba state.

At least four dead bodies, including a women and two youths have been recovered from the incident which occured on Wednesday..

Local divers rescued five people were rescued by local divers  close to where the boat capsized. 

Eye witnesses at least Thirteen people might still be missing from the load capacity of the boat which was fully loaded.

Many local communities in Lau’ Ardo_Kola, Gassol, Karim_Lamido, Ibbi, Donga, Bali and Sardauna local government areas rely on water transport for economic and social activities.
