Nguroje town, a sleepy town in Sardauna local government areas of Taraba state woke up to date phenomenon – the ice rain.

It rained ice completely for almost 40 minutes residents say.

Residents say the it began to raan ice at about 12.30pm and lasted for about 40 minutes, Daily Trust learnt.

The residents collected the ice in buckets and other containers as the ice dropped was everywhere in the town.
