The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ideas Tent Communications Ltd, Mr. Chris Agabi has felicitated with Chief. Joseph T. Har, over his appointment as the Special Adviser on Security Matters to the Governor of Benue State.

Mr. Agabi in a congratulatory message described Chief Har as eminently qualified for the job and expressed confidence he will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the security challenges bedeviling the state.

He said Gov. Alia has made the right decision in the choice of Chief Joe Har adding that Chief Har has sufficient experience and a proven track record in the security industry to succeed on the job having worked in the military and managed the security of an independent power plant facility for over five years, among others.

Chief Har has analytical skills, and driven by challenges, and has good interpersonal skills. He is adept in risk assessment, security management, security management systems, security surveys, and audit amongst others.

Chief Har possesses an MSc. in Business Administration, an MSc. in Risk and Security Management, a BSc in Marketing, and Diploma in Security and Safety Management.

Until his appointment, he was the Chief Security Officer (CSO) at First Independent Power LTD, Port Harcourt Duration. Whilst he worked at the facility, he was In charge of Four power plants in four Local Government Areas in Rivers state – Trans Amadi, Omoku, Eleme, and Afam.

His responsibilities included the development of a Security Management System (SMS), the development and implementation of security plans, policies, protocols, and procedures, the preparation of emergency and evacuation plans, conducting drills and exercises for emergency/evacuation, development of Security training manuals, training guards and Supervisors, designing and presenting security education to staff, conducting Security Risks Assessments (SRA) and surveys on FIPL facilities, conduct Operational Security Audits (OSA), incidence investigation, among others.  Chief Har also previously worked at Exterran Nigeria LTD, Port Harcourt, and Histon Global Nig. Ltd, Port Harcourt.

He also previously worked for the Nigerian Army between 1989 – 2007 when he rose to the rank of a Sergeant. He retired voluntarily.

Mr. Agabi pledged the support of Ideas Tent towards the success of the Office of the Security Adviser.
