Normal scheduled train services have resumed on the Idu, Abuja to Rigasa Kaduna, the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) has announced.
The NRC in a statement signed Mr. Yakub Mahmood, the Deputy Director Public Relations said “normal passenger train services between Kaduna-Rigasa, Idu Abuja continues despite minor derailment of a coach at Jere station this morning,” Sunday 26th May, 2024.
“All the passengers on board the Kaduna-Rigasa to Idu Abuja arrived their respective destinations safely” it indicated.
He informed that the “team of Nrc Engineers are already at the site to restore the affected locations.” The Nigerian Railway Corporation Management regretted any inconveniences to it’s affected valued passengers.
It assured it’s valued passengers of it’s efforts towards ensuring their safety and comfort always.
