By ZAKAA LAZARUS, Abuja.

A renowned APC support group known as APC Founding Sons Forum has urged party leaders in Zamfara state to take immediate action to rehabilitate Senator Kabiru Marafa from Political / psychological disorder.
The group’s deputy Chairman, Comr. Mustapha Lawal said this action is necessary in order to restore harmony within the party at all levels and help a mentally deranged party fellow to regain consciousness.
Mustapha expressed concern over how the APC leaders in Zamfara has neglected Senator Marafa which has led him into political depression to the extent that his mental state has now triggered attempts to destabilize the party, likely to the tactics he employed in 2019.
The APC Founding Sons leader criticized Marafa for using social media and other platforms to spread messages of hatred and confusion, undermining the party’s stability.
“Speaking to Journalists at the Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport Abuja,  Mustapha noted that after Marafa’s defeat in the inconclusive senatorial election in Zamfara Central, Senator Marafa has resorted to attacking party members and engaging in mudslinging and political propaganda to tarnish the reputations of notable figures, especially in Zamfara state.
“Senator Marafa has become a political liability, desperate to destroy the party but the truth remains that APC in Zamfara state is too solid with the likes of Dr. Bello Matawalle standing as corner pillars for the party’s stability and properity.
The APC needs to rehabilitate  Marafa and integrate him with other members to prevent him from becoming a ‘wounded lion’ who threatens others with propaganda and mischief”, Mustapha opined.
The vice chairman advised party leaders to manage Marafa effectively to prevent him from becoming a future burden and misguiding others with his quick social media broadcasts.
He acknowledged Marafa’s potential to trouble political elites but emphasized that he should be seen as an asset for the party’s growth and future cohesion.
“The party must find a way to manage his behavior and keep him occupied with meaningful work that can contribute to the development of the APC in the country. Ignoring Marafa could allow him to recruit ignorant supporters who would undermine the party’s efforts and political unity”, Mustapha added.
We thank God for Minister of State for Defence, Alhaji Bello Matawalle and Senator Abdul’aziz Yari for their focus, commitment and political maturity in not engaging with Senator Marafa’s provocations as their developmental programs and financial support for the people of Zamfara state have significantly contributed to uniting genuine party members.
“We urge these leaders to monitor and guide the people of Zamfara to understand the motives behind Marafa’s regrouping with individuals who are more burdensome than beneficial to the party,” he said.
“The people of Zamfara will undoubtedly support the APC to be victorious in 2027. Efforts to bring division within the party should be addressed with utmost concern.”
Mustapha’s call to action emphasized on the need for strategic management and unity within the APC to ensure its continued success and stability in Zamfara state.
In the coming days, we will hold our Renewed Hope Rally for unity and Peace in Zamfara state where every APC faithful in the state will come together for the party’s unity, Mustapha concluded.
