COAS Commitment To Training As 2024- Mid Year Courses Appraisal, Curriculum Harmonization Workshop Ends In Minna

The Chief of Army Staff, COAS , Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja NAM, has restated commitment to training of personnel of the  Nigerian Army (NA) in line with  approved  training directives.
Lt Gen  Lagbaja stated this on Thursday,  at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Mid- Year Courses Appraisal and Curriculum Harmonisation Workshop hosted by Headquarters,Training and Doctrine Command, NA (HQ TRADOC  NA),
Minna, Niger State.
This was revealed in a statement issued by Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations,
Training and Doctrine Command Nigerian Army, Lieutenant Colonel SANI UBA said
  the COAS who was represented at the Workshop by the  Commander, TRADOC NA, Major General Kevin Aligbe commended the participants for displaying a high level of professionalism in advancing  improved training activities for the NA Training Schools.
The statement said,  the COAS urged the participants to remain resolute in the pursuit of excellence  towards achieving combat readiness of troops through training.
He said the Army Chief reiterated  the need to upscale military training towards meeting global standards, he said the security challenges confronting the nation must be defeated.
He challenged participants to remain focused and committed towards achieving the desired training goals for optimal performance of the NA.
It said the  closing ceremony of the Workshop was followed by a cocktail party in honour of the participants held at the TRADOC NA  Officers’ Mess, Minna Military Cantonment.
