By ZAKAA LAZARUS, Abuja.

The Emerging Leaders Forum of Nigeria, ELFON under  has called on all well meaning Nigerians to pray for and support the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led administration to succeed.
The ELFON Leadership made the call while addressing a league of Journalists on Thursday in Abuja. He noted that those that over price themselves with the mentality that if they don’t occupy certain leadership positions, no other person is qualified to occupy such seat are practically living in delusion.
Godstime noted that ofcourse, Section 40 of the Nigeria’s constitution approves Lawful assemblage and association of Nigerians but as humans, we must apply discretion in our daily dealings.
He wondered why some who lost certain seats of power are chiefly in the business of seeing that the occupants of those seat the lost fail in office. The President of the Emerging Leaders expressed worry over the statements by former Vice President Atiku Abubakar concerning the planned National Protest as he wondered if he (Atiku) will support a protest if he were the President of Nigeria.
In the vain, ELFON expressed worries over the silence of the member representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin- Magaji federal constituency of Zamfara State at the federal house of representatives, Abuja, Aminu Sani Jaji over the heightened insecurity dituation that has bedeviled his federal constituency and state, Zamfara.
That one lost the speakership position of the federal house of Representatives doesn’t mean he should stay aloof of his primary responsibilities. No wonder why registered voters in Kaura Namoda/ Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency wrote Speaker Abbas Tajudeen to oust Rep Jaji weeks ago.
Secretly fanning ambers of discord and protest to fight the government that is of the same political lineage (APC) with you will not help you to claim the seat that was not meant for you.
Just yesterday, voters from Zamfara State took a bold step towards holding their elected representative accountable, as they submitted another formal letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbas, seeking the recall of Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, member representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency.
The move, which has been gaining momentum in recent weeks after the first call was made, is a direct response to Hon. Jaji’s perceived poor performance, gross negligence, and divisive politics, which have allegedly worsened the plight of the people in the constituency.
According to spokesperson of the Zamfara state chapter of ELFON,  Comrade Tasiu Mohammed who is an indigene of Kaura Namoda, the voters, under the auspices of the Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency Coalition for Sustainable Democracy, have been mobilizing support and gathering signatures for the recall process, as provided for in Section 69 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In the letter to Speaker Abbas, dated July 24, 2024, the coalition expressed their loss of confidence in Hon. Jaji, citing his failure to effectively represent the constituency, neglect of his duties and inability to attract federal and state projects to the area.
The coalition also sighted that Hon. Jaji has been absent from the constituency, despite the prevailing security challenges, humanitarian crisis, and has failed to interface with his constituents, provide any meaningful support or even made a complaint about the insecurity situation bedevilling his federal constituency at the floor of chamber.
“Dishonourable Jaji has proven that he can not effectively represent the good people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency. You so many in our federal constituency, we do not have any member in the House of Representatives as Jaji has not visited his constituency and could hardly be reached in spite of the reign of terror occasioned by persistent bandits’ attacks and siege in the area”, Comrade Tasiu stated.
Numerous complaints have been made against him on a daily basis by aggrieved and neglected members of the constituency as he abandoned them to their fate.
“All efforts to call him to order and the urgent need to interface with his constituents failed as he reclined in his Abuja comfort zone, oblivion of the sufferings of the people who need effective representation, someone to highlight their plights and attract State and Federal solutions that will ameliorate their problems”, Tasiu maintained.
Our correspondent learnt that Jaji’s political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) at Ward, Local Government and State levels equally intervened to no avail. As a political party that abhors inept leadership, the Ward, Local Government and State Chapters of the party suspended him accordingly, which was widely reported in the national media and social media.
In view of Aminu Jaji’s very poor representation, the people of Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji Federal Constituency have once again resolved and strongly determined to recall him from the House of Representatives immediately to avoid further squander and fritter away of their mandate to him as stated in the letter submitted yesterday.
