HON. ACHADO EMPOWERS 5 CONSTITUENTS WITH FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR INTERNATIONAL EDUCATION

In a significant move to advance educational opportunities for his constituents, Arc. (Dr.) Asema Achado, House of Representatives Member for Gwer East/Gwer West Federal Constituency, has provided significant financial assistance to five members of his constituency pursuing higher education abroad.

Demonstrating his unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and educational development, Dr. Achado disbursed a total of ₦2.5 million, with each of the five beneficiaries receiving ₦500,000. These funds are intended to support their academic pursuits in prestigious international institutions.

A statement by Mendah Manasseh, his Personal Assistant on Media and Publicity indicated Dr. Achado lauded the beneficiaries for their dedication to academic excellence and highlighted the transformative power of education.

He emphasized that, “this initiative is part of my strategic effort to ensure that students in my constituency have access to global educational opportunities, equip themselves with specialized knowledge that will benefit the nation, state, and constituency in the near future”.

The beneficiaries include:

  1. Dr. Atim Gerald – Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the University of North West, South Africa.
  2. Mr. Faasema Ngutor Ezekiel – MSc at National Research University, Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, Russia.
  3. Mr. Iorkegh Denen-ter Donatus – MSc at National Research University, Higher School of Economics (HSE), Moscow, Russia.
  4. Mr. Tyohemba Stephen – MSc at National Research Nuclear University (MEPhI), Moscow, Russia.
  5. Mr. Abi Desmond – Visa and work arrangements in Russia.

The recipients expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Dr. Achado’s support, acknowledging the profound impact on their educational and professional trajectories. They offered prayers for his continued success and well-being.
