Mrs. Bridget Myaze Shagba, popularly known as Lady B, has been appointed the interim President Tiv Youth Organisation (TYO) Kuje Area Council, Abuja, Chapter.
Mrs. Shagba, an ace entrepreneur, philanthropist, socialite, a huge lover/promoter of Tiv culture and values.
The President of TYO Abuja Chapter Chief Joseph Undu, approved her appointment on September 1, 2024 followed the dissolution of the leadership of TYO Kuje Chapter by the TYO Abuja Chapter.
Hitherto, the interim leadership of Kuje Chapter was led by Mr. Jeremiah Orhena.
Mrs. Shagba is the CEO of Lady B Enterprise and a strong promoter of the Tiv culture and young talents.
The appointment is for a period of six months, subject to renewal.
The new leadership is charged to conduct elections within six months to usher in duly elected Executive in Kuje Area Council.
While congratulating her, the TYO President Chief Saater urged the new appointee to work with other relevant stakeholders in her Council to put together interim executive council for efficient service delivery.
He also advised her to shun all divisive tendencies and work together for the unity, peace and stability of the Tiv youths resident in Kuje Councils while assuring her that, the task of repositioning TYO Abuja Chapter is sacrosanct.
The appointment takes effect immediately.
