The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has reaffirmed the Nigerian Air Force’s (NAF) commitment to cybersecurity as a cornerstone of operational readiness.
Speaking at the Cybersecurity Awareness Training held in Abuja, he emphasized that digital resilience is crucial in modern warfare, where cyber threats can be as impactful as physical attacks.
The CAS highlighted efforts to transform the NAF into a cyber-resilient force, aligning with Nigeria’s National Cybersecurity Policy. He also commended partnerships, including Global Tech, for driving innovative solutions to secure critical NAF systems.
The workshop equips NAF personnel with the skills to counter evolving cyber threats, reinforcing NAF’s mission to safeguard Nigeria’s airspace and digital infrastructure.
