The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), led by Air Vice Marshal Lawal Alao (rtd), alongside other distinguished senior officers, visited the Nigerian Army College of Logistics and Management (NACOLM) on a feasibility tour.
The team was warmly welcomed by the Commandant NACOLM, Major General Wisdom Etuk, at the permanent site in Ojo, Lagos.
The primary objective of the team visit was to gain insights from NACOLM and to evaluate the feasibility of establishing an Air Force College of Logistics (AFCOL). The visit aimed at understanding the College’s organizational structure, courses, curricula and syllabi.
The productive engagement included a brief presentation of NACOLM, interactive discussions and a guided tour of NACOLM facilities, providing the team with a firsthand view of the College’s infrastructure and resources.
The delegation expressed gratitude for the hospitality extended to them and noted their admiration for the initiatives and programs NACOLM has implemented.
In his remarks, AVM LS Alao (rtd) expressed gratitude to the Commandant NACOLM for facilitating the visit despite the unfortunate passing of the late COAS, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja. He also commended the College for its remarkable achievements over the years.
Major General Etuk, in his response, expressed his appreciation for the visit and pledged his unwavering support and collaboration toward ensuring the successful establishment of AFCOL by the NAF.
