The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has commended the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) for the prompt remittance of staff contributions to the scheme.

NSITF expressed this commendation during a courtesy call on the Group Managing Director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, at the corporate headquarters in Makurdi, the state capital.

Leading the delegation, Mrs. Msugh Echeno, praised Dr. Asemakaha for establishing new subsidiaries and appealed for the onboarding of over 300 staff from these subsidiaries to the scheme.

She also requested the clearance of a backlog of 3.2 million naira debt inherited by the current management, which would facilitate the provision of more social insurance services to the company’s staff.

In response, Dr. Asemakaha appreciated the NSITF for offering insurance to some of the company’s employees and reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing the welfare of his staff.

He instructed the head of the Administration and Human Resources Management department, Joshua Nyipira, to liaise with the NSITF to integrate the new employees from the subsidiaries into the scheme.
