Bread vendors from the BIPC Bread factory in Benue State, Nigeria, have expressed their gratitude to Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, the Group Managing Director of Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), for empowering them economically.
The vendors, led by Akundushima Mamwoo and Regina Mary Ashiekaa, commended Dr. Asemakaha for providing a source of livelihood for their families through the bread factory.
The delegation of vendors, who buy bread from the factory and resale it to the public, thanked Dr. Asemakaha for his vision and leadership, stating that his efforts have made a significant impact on their lives. They also acknowledged the support of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.
“We are here to thank His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and you, sir, for giving us the opportunity to take care of our families. Your leadership has made a significant impact on our lives, and we are grateful,” said Akundushima Mamwoo.
Regina Mary Ashiekaa added, “We were struggling to make ends meet, but thanks to your initiative, we now have a steady source of income and can conveniently now pay our children’s school fees and buy food for our families. Our families are better off because of your efforts,” she noted.
Dr. Asemakaha, who was visibly touched by the women’s appreciation, thanked them for recognizing his contributions. He assured them that BIPC would continue to support initiatives that seek to empower women and promote economic growth in the state.
“I am humbled by your kind words, As a company, we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our people. We will continue to support initiatives that promote economic growth and empowerment.”
The delegation presented Dr. Asemakaha with a gift as a token of their appreciation, and he, in turn, promised to continue supporting their sales.
