The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) is set to complete its bread factory project in Gboko within the next two weeks, marking another milestone in its drive to boost local production and employment.
Project Manager, Mr. Paul Yoosu, gave the update during an inspection visit by the company’s Corporate Communications and Information Technology (CCIT) Unit to the construction site.
Speaking to the team, Mr. Yoosu revealed that key aspects of the construction including roofing and plastering are nearing completion. “As you can see, roofing and plastering is ongoing and will be completed three days from now. Already, all the windows and burglar-proof installations are on ground and would be fixed soon,” he said.
He added that installation of the Plaster of Paris (POP) ceiling and floor tiling would follow immediately, assuring that the entire project will be completed within two weeks.
Head of the CCIT Unit, Mrs. Joyce Isiaku, commended the project manager and his team for their commitment and quality of work.
She described the progress as impressive and praised the speed and standard of the ongoing construction.
Once completed, the Gboko bread factory is expected to contribute to local economic growth, create jobs, and enhance access to affordable bread products in the area.
