The Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Gwabin Musa, OFR, on behalf of the officers, men, and women of the Armed Forces of Nigeria, warmly felicitates with the Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.

General Musa extolled the Honourable Minister as a leader of great vision, humility, and patriotism whose unwavering commitment to national service has significantly contributed to strengthening Nigeria’s defence and security architecture.

He further noted that Alhaji Badaru’s steadfast support, wise counsel, and exemplary leadership have continued to inspire the Armed Forces of Nigeria in the discharge of their constitutional responsibilities.

According to the CDS, the Honourable Minister has, through his dedication, fostered synergy among the Services and defence institutions, thereby enhancing operational effectiveness and boosting the morale of personnel across all theatres of operation.

He described the Minister’s leadership style as a source of encouragement, not only to the military but to the nation at large.

While rejoicing with Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar Badaru on this special occasion, General Musa prayed that Almighty God grant him many more years of sound health, divine wisdom, and enduring strength to continue serving the nation and humanity with distinction.

The CDS, on behalf of the Armed Forces, once again wishes the Honourable Minister a Happy Birthday and many happy returns.
