A statement by Comr. Isaiah Audu, the President, Tiv Youth Organization (TYO) Nasarawa State Chapter described the act as barbaric, inhuman, and a direct assault on the peace and security of our communities.

“It is heartbreaking that such a promising young lady was hacked down in her prime by individuals who have no regard for human life” it said.

“While we commend the youths in the community and security agencies for their swift response in apprehending the culprits, we call on the relevant authorities to ensure that justice is served without compromise” the statement noted.

The Tiv Youths insist the prosecution of the perpetrators must be swift and transparent to serve as a deterrent to others.

It assured that the Tiv Youth Organization remains committed to promoting peace, justice and the protection of lives and property across Nasarawa State.

They urged urge government and security agencies to intensify efforts to curb the rising cases of armed violence and protect innocent citizens from further attacks.

They extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Miss Favour Akaaza and pray that God grants them the strength to bear this irreparable loss.
