Nasarawa State Governorship Hoepful Abu Giza Meets Widows, Promises Women Empowerment

The Nasarawa Govership hopeful, Alh. Abu Giza has met over 400 widows in Nasarawa State and promised them empowerment when he becomes the governor of the state.

Alh. Giza also extended the empowerment promise to the entire women of Nasarawa state.

He met with the widows on Saturday November 1st 2025 at Angwan Zakara in continuation of his grassroot mobilization ahead the governorship contest in 2027.

A cross section of the women who spoke at the occasion endorsed Abu Giza’s candidature and pledged their support to make sure he succeeds.

They said their support is hinged on the track record of Alh. Giza who has consistently demonstrated passion for Nasarawa state from the creation of the state till date.

Alhaji Abu Giza as resourceful entrepreneur and retired civil servant has prioritised poverty reduction and inclusive development.

Lower Benue River Basin Development Authority Worked with Mada-Dep River Basin Development Authority from 1984-1986.
