‎The Association of Corporate Online Editors (ACOE) has announced its 2025 Investiture Public Lecture & Awards, scheduled for November 25, 2025, at Azikiwe Hall, Nicon Luxury Hotel, CBD Abuja.

‎The event, themed “Strengthening Corporate Online Media for National Development,” reflects ACOE’s commitment to advancing credible online journalism, promoting professional development, expanding digital innovation, and encouraging issues-based reporting that supports national growth and good governance.

This was contained in a statement signed by its Chairman, Shola Akingboye, on 23rd November 2025.

‎ According to the statement, the event marks three years of ACOE’s existence, and the Investiture Lecture & Awards will feature:

‎A Public Lecture on strengthening strategic communication, enhancing media–government collaboration, investing in digital infrastructure, and promoting accountability-focused reporting.

‎An Awards Ceremony honouring champions of good governance, humanitarian service, and national security, including posthumous awards for fallen heroes who died combating insurgency and banditry since 2010.

‎A Gala will follow, featuring the cutting of the anniversary cake and the presentation of special awards.

‎ Over 300 participants from the media, government, legislature, diplomatic missions, security agencies, civil society and NGOs are expected to attend.
