The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Galaxy Backbone, Professor Ibrahim Adeyanju, has commended National Youth Service Corps’ (NYSC’s) contributions to the unity, integration and socio-economic development of the country.

He made the commendation, when he paid a courtesy visit to the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters in Abuja.

Adeyanju noted that the Scheme’s policy of deploying Corps Members to serve outside their States of Origin had added tremendous value to it despite many challenges.

The CEO explained that the Galaxy Backbone was a digital infrastructural platform of the Federal Government providing internet services for Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) with maximum security.

He appealed for partnership with the NYSC, adding that any establishment that patronised the company would have its data protected in line with the Nigerian Laws.

“We are open to partnership, and we will ensure that NYSC State Secretariats are operating with enhanced digital infrastructure,” he said.

In his remarks, the Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, said the Scheme was a household name that was building a formidable workforce for the country.

Nafiu lauded Galaxy Backbone for its initiatives, adding that the NYSC was ready to partner with any agency that would strengthen its operations.

He assured his guest that the Management would look into the request for partnership.
