Governor Nyesom Wike  spoke on Thursday at the flag off of a road project at Omerelu in Ikwerre Local government area of Rivers State .

He said Sen. Ayu is an arrogant man  whose  ingratitude connot take anywhere.

Gov. Wike was apparently referring to a statement credited to Ayu where he described Wike and those clamouring for his sack as small children.

Senator Ayu is a founding father of the PDP thus he’s feeling those who joined the PDP at a later date are less entitled to the party as he is..

Wike said Ayu is an ungrateful and arrogant man whom he assisted to get the seat of the National Chairman of PDP.

He urged him  to resign honorably as PDP National Chairman.

Wike and other PDP chieftains have insisted that the party chairman and the cannot be in the same region based on the zoning arrangements in the internal party arrangements.

They insist that in the spirit of fairness and justice, Ayu should resign and page way for a PDP Chairman from the southern extraction.
