President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
Recall Engr. Imam Kashim Imam’s nomination was greeted with widespread criticism because commentators say he is largely inexperienced for the job. He’s said to be 24 years old.
The President’s withdrawal of the above-mentioned nomination is directed with immediate effect, a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President said.
The statement said all the other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by the directive.
