Breaking.. Sokoto Deputy Governor Resigns PDP Membership

The Sokoto State Deputy Governor Hon. Manir Muhammad Dan Iya has withdrawn his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) membership.

In a letter dated 8th February, 2023, and addressed to his PDP ward chairman, Kware Ward, Kware Local Government, Sokoto State, he said his withdrawal takes effect same day.

He didn’t state any reason for his actions..

“1 write notify you of withdrawal of my membership from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with effect from 8 February 2023” he wrote. 

‘I appreciate the opportunities given to me, which made me serve in various capacities under the PDP.’ he indicated.
