The Benue State Governor-Elect, Rev Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia was on Monday, April 03, 2023 complimented and invited to the Transition Committee by the incumbent governor, Samuel Ortom.
The Compliment Letter lwas presented to the Governor-Elect at his private residence, New GRA, Makurdi by the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of Transition Committee, Prof. Tony Ijoho SAN in Company of the Head of Service to the Benue State Government, Veronica Onyeke and Commissioner for Education, Dr. Saawuan Tarnongo.
Governor Ortom congratulated Fr Dr Hyacinth Iormem Alia and extended official invitation to him to send delegation from his camp to form part of the Transition Committee.
Fr. Alia heartily welcomed the delegation and thanked Governor Ortom for Congratulating him and also making official request for members of his team to join in the Transition Committee, a statement from his publicist said.
He promised to send some members of his team to join the Transition Committee in the next few days.
