Aura by Transcorp Hotels, the online platform for booking homes, hotels, and experiences, is democratising access to luxurious hospitality with the launch of AuraFlex, a flexible payment option that empowers users to choose how they pay for hotels, homes, or experiences booked on the platform. With an installment payment experience at checkout using any payment option on the platform, users can book the perfect experience when they want it and pay over time.
Ifeoma Okafor-Obi, Business Development Director for Aura by Transcorp Hotels, in her comments, explained that with AuraFlex, users of the Aura by Transcorp Hotels platform would have the option of dividing their total booking amount into smaller payments over a defined time period, having paid an initial deposit on qualifying bookings on the platform.
“We are changing the game by improving access to the great lifestyle services available on the platform, from homes to hotels and experiences. We expect AuraFlex to become a fundamental payment method for bookings on Aura by Transcorp Hotels,” Okafor Obi enthused.
Since its launch in July 2021, Aura by Transcorp Hotels has distinguished itself by providing unique accommodation verified for quality and value for money, ensuring that users always choose from the right pool of options. Aura by Transcorp Hotels is owned by the leading hospitality brand Transcorp Hotels Plc.
Dupe Olusola, Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc expressed her confidence that the new feature will help more people experience luxurious hospitality, not just at the company’s flagship property Transcorp Hilton Abuja, but also at other luxurious hotels or homes listed on Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
“At Transcorp Hotels, our mission is to redefine hospitality in Africa through innovation and exceptional service. We have expanded our reach exponentially over the past 18 months through Aura by Transcorp Hotels, with rooms under management now in excess of 5,000 across Nigeria.”
“Aura by Transcorp Hotels is our way of democratising access to luxurious hospitality. This new feature further improves user access to the best homes, hotels, and experiences listed on the platform by making payment simple and flexible,” Olusola said.
AuraFlex launched in March and has enjoyed impressive uptake by individuals booking in advance for upcoming holidays, as well as small businesses trying to lock down dates for future accommodation needs while enjoying flexible payment. AuraFlex is applicable for payments for bookings worth N50,000 and above. Payment can be made until 14 days before each stay.
The new feature is available to all users of Aura by Transcorp Hotels via aura.transcorphotels.com or the app, which can be downloaded on Google Play or Apple App Store.
