TYO also commended the political leader of the Tiv nation, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Dr. George Akume for his effective leadership recruitment process in our dear nation.

“These appointments are highly commendable and strategic. By this, the President has again heeded the call by the Tiv Youth Organization for inclusion of Tiv people in his government as a mark of recognition and reward for their massive support during the last general elections” the statement said.

“The President has, by these appointments, made the entire Tiv people worldwide and, of course, the Nigerian people proud of his administration which promises to deliver true dividends of democracy to our citizens,” said Undu.

TYO congratulated the new appointees and charged them to justify the confidence reposed in them by Mr. President.

The TYO advised the appointees to remember that Nigerians have high expectations of this government and urged them to work round the clock and think outside the box to evolve workable solutions to tackle the nation’s economic challenges in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

While thanking President Tinubu for these well-deserved appointments of its kinsmen, the TYO reiterated its earlier call on the President to always put the interest of the Tiv nation, and her people at the bottom of his heart.
