Globus Bank Staff Commits Suicide Over Economic Hardship

A lady, 32, identified as Amarachi Ugochukwu, and a staff of Globus Bank Ikorodu, Lagos has allegedly committed suicide at work.

According to reports, she poisoned herself with Snipper, a dangerous substance, and was found dead in the bank’s toilet.

Pastor Okezie J. Atañi who twitted on X @ONsogbu, “The diseased had left her phone on her table and the phone kept ringing which made her colleagues start looking for her, after which the office toilet door was noticed to have been locked behind.”

When the door was forcefully opened her motionless body with an empty medium-sized SNIPPER bottle and a suicide note where she wrote:

“Nothing is working in my life”

“My figures are low”

“My brain is clogged up”

“The economy is getting harder”

“My decisions are wrong”

“My mind is messed up”

“The future doesn’t seem bright at all, I see extreme hardship. I can’t bear the pain anymore”

“I’m sorry Mom, I’m sorry Dad, I’m sorry Nene, Okwe, Tutonazor, Chuchu, Ifunanya”

“Dear lord have mercy on me!”.
