The Benue Investment and Property Company (BIPC) requires at least N27 billion to build it’s proposed 30 new industries in four years.
The BIPC Managing Director/CEO, Dr Raymond Asemakaha disclosed this on Tuesday during the commissioning of the BIPC Bakery, Water Factory, and the unveiling of it’s flagship products: BIPC Bread, BIPC Water, Emperor Fertilizer, and innovative Motorcycle Hire Purchase Scheme.
The factories and products were commissioned by the Governor and f Benue State, Rev. Dr. Hyacinth Alia.
Dr. Asemakaha said “BIPC needs liquidity of not less than N7 billion to stabilize and drive the industrial revolution that we are currently working on to revamp and build a minimum of 30 industries within the first 4 years of this administration with job creation of over 1 million,” directly and indirectly.
The BIPC MD also indicated that these projects collectively will catalyse economic stimulation, job creation, and value addition within Benue State.
“BIPC’s mission is the creation of employment opportunities for the residents of Benue State BIPC’s strategic approach balances high-profile ventures with smaller, impactful projects to ensure a holistic development model” he assured.
According to him, the diversified approach by BIPC is that mitigate risks and ensure steady progress across multiple sectors of the economy.
“The BIPC Bakery and Water Factory are strategic short term initiatives designed to provide high-quality products that meet the needs of our people, create employment opportunities for our youth, and contribute to the overall economic growth of Benue State” he explained.
“Our BIPC Bread is freshly baked daily, using only the finest and most wholesome ingredients, while our BIPC Water undergoes a rigorous filtration process to ensure purity and freshness” he further said.

To empower Benue farmers and boost agricultural productivity he stated that “BIPC has established a state-of-the-art chemical fertilizer blending plant. It is my pleasure to present to you our flagship t agricultural product, The Emperor Fertilizer. Specially formulated to enhance crop yields and promote healthy soil, The Emperor Fertilizer is poised to revolutionize the agricultural landscape of our state. Our Fertilizer is tested and confirm at international institute of tropical Agriculture IITA-Ibadan and Joseph Sarwuan Tarkaa University Department of Soil Science” he assured.
On the motorcycle, the BIPC boss explained that it is also to address the pressing issue of youth unemployment.
“Our research has revealed that commercial motorcycles, commonly known as “Okada,” contribute significantly to employment among our youth. “This innovative scheme aims to empower our young people by providing them with affordable access to motorcycles, paving the way for further expansion into tricycles and cars in the future” he said. “Today’s event marks a significant milestone in our journey towards economic growth and development.
