Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) has recognised the Managing Director, BIPC, Mr. Raymond Asemakaha as a reform champion.
Mr. Asemakaha has led bespoke reforms at the BIPC that is unlocking opportunities for small businesses in Benue state.
He was invited as speak as Reform Champion at the Town Hall Meeting of the subnational program on the PEBEC at the state House in Abuja on Friday, June 28th, 2024.
The program is set up by the President of Nigeria to ease the business environment in the country.
PEBEC’s goals include: Removing bureaucratic constraints and legislative constraints, Improving the perception of the ease of doing business in Nigeria, improving Nigeria’s business environment reform, Making business in Nigeria easy through reforms and policies, Collaborating with Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and other partners to reduce the costs, time and number of procedures to make the process of setting up and doing business in Nigeria simpler and effective.
The programme also aimed to ensuring the implementation of reforms, and mplementing the reformation agenda.
The discussions were tailored on sector reforms with a 90days RRA indicators in Agriculture and Exports matrix Areas are within the green lines.
The Benue State Investments and Properties Limited has implemented programmes to enable small businesses in the state through incentives and other support systems.
