The Director General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Yushau Dogara Ahmed, has felicitated with the Minister of Youth Development, Mr Ayodele Olawande on his elevation to the position of substantive Minister of Nigeria’s Ministry of Youth Development in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s recent cabinet reshuffle.
Ayodele Olawande was previously the Minister of State in the same Ministry.
This elevation, which came about 14 months after Olawande’s appointment as Minister of State, is no doubt a testament to his hard work and dedication to the programmes and projects geared towards the advancement of Nigerian youths.
Olawande’s contributions to the cause of NYSC in particular, attests to this.
General Ahmed has no doubt that the cordial working relationship between the Scheme and the Minister will subsist, for the good of the NYSC and Nigeria at large.
The Director General pledges his loyalty and support while wishing the Minister a successful tenure of office.
