The Managing Director of the Benue Investment company Limited (BIPC) Dr. Raymond Asemakaha- CFA, has bagged the prestigious “Man of the Year” award during the 9th edition of the Made in Benue Awards held in Benue Hotels, makurdi.

According to the organisers, the recognition celebrates his outstanding leadership and significant contributions toward industrializing the state.

The organisers also noted that Dr. Asemakaha’s impact within just one year in office has been profound, with numerous projects launched under his stewardship. His initiatives include the establishment of bread factories, water production facilities, nail manufacturing factories,  polythene, and nylon production factories and a brewery.

These developments have not only created jobs but also positioned Benue State as an  industrial hub.

Represented by the Departmental Head,  Account, Finance and Budget Planning of BIPC, Mr. Terver Bosua, the Managing Director expressed gratitude to the organizers for the honour.

He dedicated the recognition to the people of Benue, highlighting their unwavering support for BIPC and this administration led by His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia.

“This award is a testament to the collective efforts of our administration in promoting good governance and transforming Benue State. We are committed to creating wealth and enhancing the overall GDP for the benefit of our citizens,” Bosua stated.
