2027: South East SDP Woos Obi, Atiku And Others; Affirm Support For Party’s Leadership

The South East region of Social Democratic Party (SDP) have affirmed their confidence in the party’s leadership and the entire National Working Committee(NWC), they also welcome the influx of new members as key for the party’s growth and victory ahead of 2027 general elections.

The South East SDP commend party’s leadership  for it’s outstanding efforts in building and repositioning the party across the country; stated in the statement.

In a press release issued yesterday by Chief  Sir. Arinze Ekelem, National Vice Chairman South East, Social Democratic Party in Awka, Anambra state. The SDP south east region declared full support for the party’s National Chairman, Shehu Musa Gabam, and the entire national working committee members.

According to the statement; Chief Arinze Ekelem, however, applauded their efforts and dedication in strengthening and repositioning the party. The  South East SDP, welcome new members, more especially the high-profile defections into the party recently.

The National Vice Chairman South East of Social Democratic Party (SDP) Chief Arinze Ekelem have urged former Vice Presidential, Atiku Abubakar; the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election, Mr Peter Obi, Aregbesola and other prominent Nigerians to join the SDP.

The statement reads; the South East region of Social Democratic Party (SDP) invites Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rotimi Amaechi, Rauf Aregbesola and all opposition leaders to come and join SDP.

“SDP is a party that prioritizes inclusivity. It is a party for Nigerians seeking a fresh political direction to rescue this country. Join the movement now for a greater and better Nigeria!”  Chief Arinze Ekelem Urge Nigerians to join the party nationwide, he said.
