The Anambra State Chapter of the Social Democratic Party has disowned former senator represented Anambra south in the National Assembly, Dr Ugochukwu Uba, stating that he is not a registered or Card Carrying  member of the party in Uga Ward 1,  Aguata local and and Anambra State.
The Anambra SDP State chairman warns Dr Ugochukwu Uba to stop parading himself as member of SDP because Ugochukwu Uba is not  recognised or registered or Card Carrying  member of the Social Democratic Party SDP in his political ward Uga ward 1 or Local Government Area Aguata or the state level.
However, in a press released jointly signed by SDP Aguata Local government chairman, Chief Umeh Wisdom Chimaobi and Anambra SDP State Chairman Chief Vincent Chukwura in  Awka, the capital of Anambra State on Friday, the party’s leadership in Anambra State, Aguata local government area and Uga Ward 1 emphasised that Senator Ugochukwu Uba has been falsely parading himself as member of the party.
“It has come to our notice that certain One Ugochukwu Uba, is parading himself as member of SDP. However, neither the SDP’s ward chairman of Uga ward 1 political ward or the Chairman of Aguata Local Government Chapter or chairman Anambra SDP State Chapter nor the leadership of the party at these three levels or Chapters has any record of memberships of Ugochukwu uba.
Anambra State SDP, therefore, advised advices the general public and the nation leadershi of the party to Disassociates and avoids any relationship or engagements with Ugochukwu uba regards to his membership in Social Democratic Party, SDP.
They added that the SDP constitution clearly outlines the process and procedure for joining the party as a member, which includes registration and card carry member.
They concluded by emphasising that the Anambra State SDP remains open and welcoming to all prospective members who adhere to the established procedures of the party.
