The Group Managing Director of the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, has revealed that the second edition of the Benue Local Investor’s Forum (BELIF2.0) is scheduled to take place in November this year.
Dr. Asemakaha made this known today at the BIPC headquarters in Makurdi, stating that preparations are already underway to build on the success of the inaugural edition held in December 2023.
“The Benue Local Investor’s Forum is a strategic initiative aimed at deepening local investment and unlocking the economic potential of our people. I am pleased to confirm that the second edition will hold this November,” Dr. Asemakaha said.
He noted that the forum will bring together a diverse group of local investors, entrepreneurs, cooperatives, and financial institutions to engage in meaningful dialogue, showcase business opportunities, and drive investments in key sectors such as agriculture, real estate, manufacturing, and ICT.
According to the GMD, this year’s forum will feature exhibitions, panel discussions, business clinics, and networking sessions, with a special focus on youth and women-led enterprises.
Dr. Asemakaha encouraged all interested participants and stakeholders to stay tuned for further details, including the specific date, venue, and registration guidelines, which will be released in due course.
“This is our collective opportunity to shape the future of Benue’s economy from the grassroots up. BIPC remains committed to supporting local enterprise and fostering sustainable growth,” he added.
The Benue Local Investor’s Forum is an initiative of BIPC in collaboration with the Benue State Government and other development partners.
