In line with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General OO Oluyede’s commitment to enhancing personnel welfare and strengthening civil-military relations, the Post-Service Housing Development Limited (PHDL) has engaged key media stakeholders in an interactive parley at its corporate headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking during the session, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer PHDL, Major General Isaiah Allison, reaffirmed the Nigerian Army’s determination to provide affordable and quality housing for Nigerian Army personnel during and after their service. He stressed that this commitment reflects the COAS’ philosophy of bequeathing a well-motivated and combat-ready force.
“Our flagship program, the Affordable Home Ownership Option for All Soldiers (AHOOAS), reflects this vision,” the MD said. “We recognize the media as critical stakeholders in communicating our efforts to the public, and we count on you to ensure accurate information dissemination.”
The media parley featured a robust interaction between PHDL and journalists, aimed at promoting transparency, building trust, and strengthening partnerships for effective public communication on Army housing initiatives.
PHDL remains committed to delivering affordable and quality housing solutions in alignment with the Chief of Army Staff’s vision of improving personnel welfare and ensuring a motivated, combat-ready force.
