The Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, on Thursday, August 14, 2025, received in his office in Abuja the Director General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO), Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Sources familiar to the meeting that held behind closed doors said conversations cantered around deepening trade and export opportunities for Nigeria’s businesses.
