The registration of the orange farmers is part of preparations to commence test-run of concentrate production on Benfruits, the Management said in a statement.

It is part of BIPC’s strategic efforts to build a comprehensive database of farmers for orange value chain and reduce post-harvest losses

BIPC is also set to receive the first batch of twenty (20) truckloads of oranges that will be used to test-run its newly established concentrate factory. The trucks are expected to be received on or before 30th September, 2025, strictly on a first-come, first-served basis, the statement indicated.

All interested major orange farmers are advised to visit the BIPC Headquarters, Makurdi, to complete their registration, the statement indicated.
