The Honourable Minister of Defence H.E. Mohammed Badaru Abubakar is in Beijing representing Nigeria at the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, which opens today, Wednesday 17th September 2025.
The Forum has brought together defence and military leaders from over 100 countries; including Singapore, Russia, France, Vietnam, Brazil and Nigeria, as well as representatives of international and regional organisations. This year’s theme is “Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development.”
The programme featured four plenary sessions and eight simultaneous sessions focusing on global security governance, Asia‑Pacific security cooperation, safeguarding international order, and building regional peace.
