Prof. Hon felicitates with General John Atom Kpera (Rtd) at 85

Prof. Sebastine Tar Hon, SAN, the Semawan U Tiv. Has felicitated with Brigadier General John Atom Kpera (Rtd) on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

In a birthday letter to the octogenarian, Prof. Hin described him as a “stateman of rare distinction.”

“Today is a celebration of a full life marked by discipline, courage, and selfless service to our dear nation, Nigeria. I am honoured to celebrate you as a soldier, administrator, and elder statesman of rare distinction” he said.

“As Military Administrator of Anambra State and later Benue State, you served at defining moments in our national history. Your leadership was guided by firmness, fairness, and a deep sense of duty. You brought stability and order where they were most needed, and your contributions to governance remain worthy of remembrance and respect” Prof. Hon stated.

Beyond the offices he held, prof. Hon celebrated his “character, integrity, and humility.”

“You have continued to stand as a symbol of principled leadership and a source of wisdom to younger generations. Your life teaches us that true leadership is rooted in service, sacrifice, and love for the people” he wrote.

According to the learned silk, At 85, Gen. Atom Pkera “represent a living legacy of patriotism and resilience. I thank God for preserving your life and for the many lives you have touched through your service and mentorship. Your enduring influence, especially among the people of Benue State and the Tiv Nation, is a testament to a life well lived.”

“As you mark this remarkable milestone, I wish you sound health, peace of mind, and continued joy. May your days be filled with comfort, honor, and the satisfaction of seeing the fruits of your labour endure” he prayed.
