Troops of Sector 2, Operation FANSAN YAMMA have recovered and neutralized explosive devices planted by terrorists to cause havoc to commuters along Magami – Hannutara – Dansadau road in Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

Acting on credible information, the troops secured the affected area and conducted a thorough search, identifying 2 spots planted with explosive devices.

Consequently, an Explosive Ordnance Disposal team was deployed to destroy one device and safely recovered and rendered another harmless.

The troops have intensified patrols and surveillance in the area to safeguard residents and prevent further threats.

Members of the public are urged to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious objects or activities to the nearest security agency.
