Ortom Congratulates Wike, Utsev

The immediate past Governor of Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom congratulates Ezenwo Nyesom Wike and Professor Joseph Utsev on their appointment and inauguration as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria by President Bola Tinubu.

Chief Ortom said the former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike and Professor Utsev whom he knows personally will deliver on their jobs.

He said they will bring their wealth of experiences to bear on their new appointments.

Ortom’s statement was signed by Terver Akase his media aid..

He described Wike as a worthy ally who deepened the relationship between Rivers and Benue States, as well as stood by Benue people in difficult times.

The former Governor said as a dogged, reliable and seasoned administrator, Wike will bring the desired development to the Federal Capital Territory as Minister.

He equally believes that Professor Utsev who served under him as Commissioner for Water Resources and Environment has the requisite experience and capacity to excel as the Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation.

Chief Ortom commends President Tinubu for finding Wike and Utsev worthy to serve in his cabinet, describing them as round pegs in round holes needed for addressing challenges being faced by Nigerians.
