The Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC) has organised a two-day comprehensive training programme for the newly recruited staff of BIPC Bread and Water Factories.
The training, which took place in the company’s board room in Makurdi, is aimed at equipping the new employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
The course covered various aspects of the new factory operations, including customer service, marketing, sales, safety measures, fire measures, communication, vendor management, etc.
The Managing Director of BIPC, Dr. Raymond Asemakaha-CFA, who welcomed the new staff, encouraged them to take advantage of the training to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of the company.
Asemakaha emphasised the importance of customer satisfaction and teamwork and urged the new staff to be dedicated and committed to their duties.
The Managing Director, while assuring the teeming youths of the state of His Excellency, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia’s desire to take youths off the streets, encouraged participants to hold on to the opportunity of working with BIPC so dearly, owing to the fact that over three thousand applications were received for the job opportunities they were successful in.
He said, “We are committed to continuously upskilling our staff and ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers.”
Highlighting the focus of the training, lead facilitator HR Partner of Accenture Leadership and Management Consultants, Miss Comfort M. Leke, said the training included interactive sessions, group discussions, and role-playing exercises.
Some of the participants who spoke expressed satisfaction with the training.
