Uzo Oshogwe Assumes Office as Managing Director/CEO, Transcorp Hotels Plc

Uzo Oshogwe, the new Managing Director/CEO of Transcorp Hotels Plc has assumed her new role at the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc.

Oshogwe brings a wealth of experience spanning over 30 years in leadership, business transformation, and strategic management. A seasoned executive with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results, Uzo is poised to steer Transcorp Hotels into an exciting new chapter of growth and expansion.

In a post on Facebook on Monday, Tony O. Elumelu, CFR the chairman of Transnational Corporation Plc, welcomed Uzo Oshogwe to her new role, stressing that her proven expertise in driving strategic growth and delivering value align perfectly with the company’s vision. He also commended her predecessor Dupe Olusola for her impactful tenure.

“I want to also thank Dupe for her leadership and contribution, which have laid a solid foundation for our ongoing success,” he said.

The Board of Directors of Transcorp Hotels announced Uzo Oshogwe’s appointment in December, stating that she would start her new role on January 1, 2025.

With her experience developing large-scale luxury projects, Oshogwe’s resumption marks a significant milestone in the journey of Transcorp Hotels Plc as it continues to uphold its legacy of redefining excellence in the Nigerian hospitality industry.
