NAICOM assures flood victims with insurance of prompt claims payment

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), has assured flood victims accross the country with valid Insurance of prompt claims payment.

This assurance came from the Head of Corporate Communications and Market Development, NAICOM, Mr. Rasaaq Salami, while commiserating with the flood victims..

Recall floods have devastated several states leaving in its wake huge destruction of lives, properties and farms. Some of the individuals, properties, and farms may have some Insurance policies and will file for claims.

Mr. Salami said “NAICOM sympathises with victims of recent flood disaster across the country and want to assure all those insured against such misfortunes of the Commission’s commitment towards ensuring prompt settlement of their claims by insurance companies.”

NAICOM has zero tolerance claims for claims default and insurance companies that default gets sanctioned.
