The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced that bulk power supply has been fully restored to affected parts of Lagos State following the temporary disruption of bulk supply earlier today, Tuesday, 27th October 2026.

The outage occurred at approximately 4:59pm during a rainstorm accompanied by heavy lightning, which caused the Olorunsogo–Ikeja West and Benin–Egbin 330kV transmission lines to trip.
