The Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch ‘C’ corps members on the successful completion of their national service, describing their service year as a demonstration of courage, patriotism and commitment to national ideals.
The DG’s message was contained in a statement issued by the Director, Information and Public Relations, Mrs. Caroline Embu.
He commended the corps members for their resilience, selfless service and dedication, noting that their conduct has inspired hope and set an example for others to emulate.
“You have shown that the true spirit of service lies in giving your best for the greater good,” the DG said.
He noted that the community development projects executed by the corps members and the lives they touched in their host communities would remain an enduring part of the nation’s story.
The NYSC boss urged the outgoing corps members to leverage the skills acquired through the Scheme’s Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme to become job creators and beacons of hope.
He advised them to be guided by the core values of the Scheme patriotism, integrity, efficiency, commitment, teamwork and self-reliance as they transit into the next phase of their lives.
He further charged them to strive for leadership wherever they find themselves in order to contribute to unity, progress and national development.
“Nigeria is ours, Nigeria we serve,” he added.
